It’s me, hi!

My name is Alexis Moser, M.S., CCC-SLP, and I am a PhD student in Communication Science and Disorders (CSD) at Florida State University (FSU).

I have a growing research portfolio focused on speech sound disorder (SSD), and I plan to continue exploring how communication difficulties impact children’s daily lives, participation, and social/emotional well-being.

I am also a certified speech-language pathologist with over two years of clinical experience providing speech therapy services to children and families at Capitol City Speech Therapy outside my hometown of Raleigh, NC.

I am excited to be studying under the advisement of Dr. Kelly Farquharson as a student in the Children’s Literacy and Speech Sound (CLaSS) Lab and as a research assistant on the Academic Progress in Phonological Learning for Elementary School children with Speech Sound Disorders (APPLES) Project.
